CasesWholesale distributor · Consumer goods distribution, Buenos Aires
Replenishment calculated by customer, zone and week.
A distributor with 1,800 active customers and four systems that didn’t talk to each other. Today the sales and warehouse teams work from the same reading of the operation.
Results
- stockouts at key customers
- −31%
- orders delivered in full
- +12pts
- to set the dispatch priority, down from 4 hours
- 15min
The challenge
Stock data lived in the ERP, orders came in over WhatsApp and the dispatch priority was put together by hand every morning. Stockouts were spotted only after the customer had complained.
What we built
On the real context of the operation, together with the client’s team:
- A brain connected to the ERP, CRM and WhatsApp orders
- Priority rules by customer, zone and committed date
- An operations agent that proposes the dispatch order
- Stockout risk alerts a week in advance
How it runs today
Every morning the warehouse manager gets the day’s priority with the reason behind each decision. The sales team asks which customers are buying less and acts on that list.
“We stopped hearing about problems from our customers.”
